Love Quotes, Love Moves

A friend and a former boss gave me a mini-book entitled With Love compiled by Evelyn Beilenson a couple of years back. I enjoy reading it for it gives me an idea what true love is all about. It became my anchor during those times that I needed an answer why things are not turning out the way I wanted them to be especifically sa love (what else!). Everytime I opened it, it seems to know the answers to the questions that's been on my mind. Parang sakto palagi yung mga quotes dun' sa whatever I feel on that particular day. And I can say, it helped me survived a turbulent love affair.

Now that I've got hold of it once agan, I can't keep my hands from opening those very familiar pages. And as always, it never fails to give me quotes that makes me wanna say "Yeah, that's right!"

Let me share with you these two quotes. William Shakespeare said 'Love comforteth like sunshine after Rain'. After so many years of not seeing each other and while I was in the what-went-wrong-in-my previous-relationship-stage, Royce came one day knocking on our door. Didn't I ever imagine that that particular day will spell big difference in my life, in our lives. It was Sept. 2000. I can say that there's no proper courtship between us. He will drop-by at our place when his work permits him, he visits me on Saturdays, we go to mass on Sundays. He brightens up my day, makes him laugh at the silliest thing, text each other some mushy mushy things and so on. Things that a normal couple would. But wait! "are we or aren't we a couple?" Hmmm... after some thought, we decided that we are going to celebrate our anniversary every 26th of November. Voila! He became my sunshine since then. And now that we are husband and wife already, I can say that a French proverb is true to it's form. Marriages are made in heaven, and consummated on earth.
